Exciting List!!!!

Keeping with the spirit of list week, I will still have a list today.
But you must know lots of exciting stuff has been going on in my life since yesterday.
And by lots I mean like two things.
So here is my exciting list of maybe two things.

1. Last night, mom and I made a quick Walmart run at 11:30 pm to grab some stuff for Matt's birthday.  We were just about to check out and I needed some lotion so naturally I went to the lotion aisle and guess who I saw...Rick Buck with his girlfriend/fiance/wife Melanie! For those of you that don't know who the heck Rick Buck is, he's from the Mormom Bachelor. Our friend, Erin Spencer, was one of his dates so we watched the whole season. I just stared at him while we were in the lotion aisle, and I think he was getting a bit suspicious. I ran to tell my mom who I saw and she was pretty doubtful because last we heard he was living in California. We get to the car after the paying is done and start to pull out, I'm all fidgety and excited, and who walks out of the entrance?? Rick Buck of course. I start bouncing all over, pointing, maybe shouting a bit...who knows. Some how I convinced my mom to stop and roll down the window so I could say I'm glad you guys are together, sorry for staring at you, and what the heck are you doing in Cedar Hills. We then had a nice lil' conversation with Rick and Melanie and they had a nice chat with some strangers at 11:55 pm in the dark parking lot of Walmart. I love my life.
This is Rick and Melanie.

2. It's Matthew's Birthday!! He's so stinkin' cute. The other day he said to mom, "I wish birthdays weren't about presents and stuff, just about love."! Then we said.."So it's okay if you don't get presents?" And he decided he actually doesn't mind them. Cutest <3
P.S. This is at Manila's Dance Festival from Wednesday. He cracks me up.

3. I'm having a sleep over/weekend party with my long lost neighbors the Fordham's!! Been looking forward to this weekend for a month. Karissa and I and sometimes Conner had the best of times. But that's pretty obvious, only the cool kids have water balloon boobs.
Cutest little 7 year olds ever? I think so.

I Declare This LIST WEEK!

I just decided that it's gonna be list week.
For a few reasons:

1. I made a list yesterday, might as well continue.

2. Sometimes a girl's gotta be organized and make lists. Mostly so I can cross stuff off and feel accomplished/good about myself.

3. It's the last week of school so I shall make lists of my summer plans!

4. Lists just look so nice and prepared and NICE.

5. They're real easy and simple, you know? I like easy stuff...

6. Ever since I googled Bizarre Holidays and came across this, I've kinda always wanted to have my own weekly event.

7. This is a list ^^ so clearly I'mma make it list week.

Happy List Week from me to you!!
Make some lists.
Cross off some stuff.
Go crazy.
It's satisfying.

Great Day

It's a great day to:

1. Sleep in til 10:34.
2. Have a breakfast of scones & honeybutter at Oma's house.
3. Watch The Breakfast club after breakfast is in your belly.
4. Scrub the snot outta your tub just so you can have a nice, clean, relaxing soak later on.
5. Dance around your room with the door halfway open, preferably to disco songs.
(unofficial 6) Not wear a bra.
6. Open the window when the sun finally decides to come out from behind the clouds.
7. Blog stalk some people...
8. Play the ukulele or any instrument for that matter.
9. Have some cake and NOT feel guilty.
10. Just smile. Smile at the little things like grass, glitter, and strawberry seeds.
Also, smile at the invisible things like wind, love, and the force.

Especially the force.

11. Love some people.

Once you have learned to love, you will have learned to live.

I LOVE MY MOMMA!!!!

This is my beautiful momma.
I love her very much for lotsa reasons.
I've been wanting a certain food for a while.
We haven't had it for years and it always sounds delicious.
Guess what was waiting for me when I walked in the door...
That certain food!!

The best salad ever to start it off.
Then Chicken-Broccoli Rolls!!

I saw them sitting there on the table just for me.
It was definitely the best thing I've seen all day.
Probably all week.
Me: Are those what I think they are??
Mom: Yes...
Me: I love you!!! (as I fill my mouth with the first C-B Roll)
Mom: I love you too. That's why I made them.
Am I lucky or what?

Matthew-isms

All little people are cute and funny.
But I must say I have the cutest and funniest one there is.
Matthew.

He says something that makes me laugh every day.
Here is a collection of Facebook posts from this year
all about Matthew.
(My favorite ones are in green)

Dec. 24 - (Dad) Matthew: "If Jesus were my dad, he'd take me to Chuck E. Cheese's, why won't you?"

Jan. 12- (Mom) Matthew just came out of the bathroom saying, "Gross. Very gross." I asked what he was talking about and he said, "Pee...Pee just got in my eye." I said that he must be kidding and he said he wasn't. So I asked how in the world that happens. He said, "I was shaking it and it flicked up into my eye."

Feb. 21- Me: Matt are you gonna be a wrestler or a basketball player?
Matt: Neither.
Me: What then?
Matt: Ninja

Feb. 22- (Mom) Matthew just woke up and I said, "Good morning. Did you have a good sleep?" He said, "Yes. But I didn't have a good computer game because I haven't got to play one yet."

Feb. 27- (Mom) We were talking about how Easter changes dates every year. Anika asked why? I told her that it had something to do with the moon. Matthew says, "I know. It's so that there is a full moon so that the Easter Bunny can see at night."

March 19- Me: I'm thinking of something that starts with a G.
Matthew: G-sus?

March 25- (Dad) Matthew's prayer last night: "Please bless Japan, that she will recover goodly."

March 28- Matthew: Why would anyone burn the US flag?

Dad: Some people don't like America
Matthew: I don't understand why they wouldn't like America. Oh wait, yes I do. It gets cold here sometimes

April 2- Matthew: I don't like carnivores.
Mom: Why not?
Matthew: Because they eat people.
Mom: I think you mean cannibals.

April 5- Matthew: Did you know that Katie has had almost 100 kisses in her life?
Mom (shocked and surprised): She has? Did she tell you this?
Matthew: No. I gave them to her. Do you want 100 kisses too?
Mom (very relieved): Maybe later. I'm making dinner right now.

April 19- Me: Hey mom how do you spell immaculate?
Matt: M-A-T-T-H-E-W
Me: Immaculate, not Matthew!
Matt: Oh.....
*hugs me and runs off*

April 22- (Mom) The tooth fairy came and Matthew was very excited! He said, "I know what I want to do with my dollar. Donate it to Mr. Dickson's babies (a teacher at his school who had premie twins). This dollar is special but people are more special than money."

April 24- (Mom) Matthew and I were talking about the easter bunny this morning. He was wondering where the easter bunny lives. He thought about it for a few seconds and said, "I know...Easter Island!"

April 27- (Mom) Anika asked me, "What is the opposite of hazel?" Matthew blurted out, "Gretel!"

May 4- (Dad) Matthew wore his Darth Vader shirt to celebrate Star Wars Day.

May7- (Mom) Matthew picked a bunch of wildflowers and used duct tape to hold the bouquet together.

May 9- (Mom) Matthew planted a jelly bean on Easter morning. He has been watering it and watching it ever since. This morning he said (in a very disappointed voice). "I guess my jelly bean tree isn't going to grow."

I love this kid.
